SphereCel GF Nonwoven Glass Fiber Core Felt

This special core glass fiber material replaces some glass fiber layers, reducing resin consumption. For example, 3mm SphereCel 3 layers replace 450 grams of glass fiber felt. SphereCel GF is produced by volumizing glass fiber fibers with thermoplastic microspheres. This product is the ideal solution for resin wetted lamination applications. It is suitable for very thin laminations due to its low resin absorption and weight. It provides low surface image blocking and homogeneous distribution within the lamination. Provides higher bending resistance and tensile strength than polyester based core material. Available in 1mm/2mm/3mm/4mm/5mm thicknesses //Spherecel GF is a real glass fiber core material. Composite parts manufactured with SphereCel GF core material provide a solid glass fiber structure. It provides retention of screws and other fasteners. Due to the fact that it is glass fiber, it provides an excellent visual at the joints and can be easily folded on itself by wetting.
