Resin Catch Pot

The resin escape container, also called the vacuum tank, is an auxiliary unit used to prevent resin from moving into the vacuum unit and causing problems. This prevents excess resin from escaping to the vacuum pump during vacuuming in infusion applications. The escape vessel is designed to operate under vacuum in an infusion application. It does not adversely affect the vacuum pressure of the system. In addition to its use in infusion applications, it can also be used to deaerate resins. Removing the air from the resin before use greatly reduces the risk of air bubbles forming during curing.
