Thermoplastic Prepreg Machines

S&H prepreg systems allow reinforcement materials such as glass or carbon to be impregnated with thermoplastic resins such as PA. Heating devices such as infrared and heating rolls ensure that the required temperature is applied. The molten caprolactam is applied with a special system before the impregnation of the heat rolls. The machine operates in an environmentally controlled environment that keeps humidity and production temperature under control to ensure optimal reactivity. The technical textile reinforcement to be used prior to thermoplastic coating is heated by means of heat rollers or infrared, ensuring constant production process temperature is kept under control. In addition, film peeling, cutting and packaging can be done by automated systems.
