Product Description

EnkaChannel consists of a three-dimensional spacer matting, produced from monofilaments, pre-formed in a v-groove configuration and wrapped in a thermally bonded nonwoven sleeve. It is used as a flow channel or a feeder, creating superfast moving avenues for resin transfer. The 3D spacer is designed to withstand 1 bar (100 kpa) of pressure, which ensures a stable and regular resin flow. The nonwoven sleeve protects the vacuum bag from puncture. Thanks to the unique channel structure and the sleeve, imprints will not occur on the composite’s surface, which in turn leads to the elimination of sanding as a next step.
